The Property
5.1 acres of ancient old-growth redwoods, two year-round creeks, and four distinct zones — each designed to serve a unique role in the healing journey.
The Entrance
The Tree of Life Gate
Your journey begins at the entrance — a custom wrought-iron and copper gate crowned with the alchemic Tree of Life in sacred geometry. The Flower of Life pattern woven into the canopy of branches, roots reaching deep into the earth, copper patina aging with the forest. A threshold between the ordinary world and the sanctuary within.
Gate Design Inspiration — Alchemic Tree of Life

Komorebi Mokuyoku sits within the ancestral homeland of the Esselen people, who have been stewards of this land for thousands of years. We honor their enduring relationship with these ancient forests and commit to practices of preservation and reverence.

The Master Plan
A Village in the Canopy
Four distinct sanctuaries positioned throughout the ancient forest — connected by wooden boardwalks, suspension bridges, and the sound of running water.

The Canopy Sanctuary
Rocky Creek · Main Wellness & Treehouse Zone
The heart of Komorebi Mokuyoku. Ancient old-growth redwoods rise 200+ feet above the forest floor, creating a natural cathedral. Elevated treehouses connected by suspension bridges float among the canopy, while modality pods rest on the forest floor. The barrel sauna sits over Rocky Creek, with the natural swimming hole and Japanese hot soaking tub nearby. The Condor's Roost breathwork platform crowns the highest point.

Actual PropertyThe Sound Garden
Left of Driveway · Brandon Creek Sound Healing Zone
To the left of the driveway along Brandon Creek, this quadrant is where the copper-roofed Zome rises among the trees. This sacred geometry structure creates extraordinary acoustic resonance for sound frequency healing sessions. The natural acoustics of the canyon amplify the experience — crystal bowls, gongs, and tuning forks resonate within the copper dome while the creek provides a constant natural soundtrack.

Actual PropertyTree of Truth
Right of Driveway · Hydroponic Farm & Nourishment Zone
Walking in from the driveway, the Tree of Truth quadrant opens to the right along Landon Creek. This zone is dedicated to nourishing the body from the earth. A floating hydroponic broth garden produces the medicinal herbs, mushrooms, and vegetables that form the foundation of our healing broth program. Fed by the year-round waters of Landon Creek, this regenerative agriculture system embodies the farm-to-forest philosophy — every meal served at Komorebi Mokuyoku begins here.

Actual PropertyThe Greenhouse Residence
Across Palo Colorado Road
Across Palo Colorado Road from the main property, this parcel houses the year-round greenhouse and a tiny residence structure. The greenhouse extends the growing season for the experience's farm-to-forest program, cultivating tropical medicinal plants, citrus, and warm-weather herbs that cannot survive the coastal fog. The tiny residence provides on-site staff housing or can serve as an additional guest accommodation.
